Terms and Conditions


1. Payment Terms

All invoices are due upon receipt. Payments can be made using the following methods: Cash, Cheque, Debit, E-Transfer, MasterCard, and Visa. Please note that a 3% fee may be applied to credit card transactions at our discretion.

In accordance with the Federal Prompt Payment Act, payments must be made in a timely manner. Accounts that remain unpaid beyond 30 days will be subject to an interest charge of 2% per month (24% per annum) until the balance is paid in full.


2. Restocking Charges

A 25% restocking fee applies to all returned items. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Custom or special-order items are non-refundable.


3. Warranty

A 1-year warranty applies to all labour and parts on repairs performed by our company.

New fireplaces are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty conditions. Warranty claims for new fireplaces must be directed to the manufacturer in accordance with their policies.

Warranty does not cover damages due to improper use, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.


4. Service Appointments and Cancellations

Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

Our technicians will make every effort to arrive within the scheduled timeframe; however, appointment times are approximate and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.


5. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive to provide quality service, we are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions, structural issues, or defects in equipment beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access to the service area.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products.


6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the applicable provincial courts.

By proceeding with our services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.


7. Fireplace Service Plans

Units that are subject to heavy or year-round use may require more frequent servicing. Such additional visits are not included under this Plan but may be scheduled separately at prevailing member discount rates.

These Terms and Conditions, together with any documentation provided at the time of enrollment, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and the service provider with respect to the Plan. No amendment, modification, or waiver of any provision shall be binding unless made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

By enrolling in the Plan, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.


7.1 Platinum Plan

This Fireplace Service Plan (“Plan”) is valid for a term of three (3) years from the date of initial enrollment and includes one (1) comprehensive maintenance inspection and cleaning per covered fireplace unit per year, for a total of three (3) maintenance visits over the term of the Plan. The Plan is non-transferable and applies only to the fireplace unit(s) registered at the time of enrollment.

Platinum plan discounts only apply to businesses or owners who actively have 10 or more fireplaces on annual maintenance service plans (Gold Plan, Gold Plan 6, Gold Plan – Electric, Gold Plan 6 – Electric). If fewer fireplaces have active memberships at the time of completed work regular Gold Plan rates will apply.

Plan members are entitled to the following benefits during the active term of the Plan: (i) 20% off all services only when 4 or more units are booked in succession otherwise 15% off will apply, (ii) 12% off repair labour, and (iii) 12% off repair parts, applicable only to the fireplace units covered under the Plan. Specialty parts and labour may be excluded from the 12% discount at the sole discretion of the service provider. Any such exclusions will be communicated to the customer prior to the commencement of work. Members also receive priority scheduling over non-members during peak periods and may be eligible for exclusive promotions or offers throughout the year, which are offered at the discretion of the provider.

The Plan is billed annually, with the first payment due upon enrollment and subsequent payments due on the anniversary date of enrollment each year for the remaining years. Each annual payment includes one (1) annual maintenance service and access to all Plan benefits for the 12-month period following payment. If the customer cancels the Plan or fails to pay on time before the end of any given year, the included maintenance service and related discounts for that year will be forfeited, and no refunds or credits will be issued for services already rendered or unused benefits. Unpaid balances may be re-issued at non-member rates.

7.2 Gold Plan

This Fireplace Service Plan (“Plan”) is valid for a term of three (3) years from the date of initial enrollment and includes one (1) comprehensive maintenance inspection and cleaning per covered fireplace unit per 6-month period, for a total of six (6) maintenance visits over the term of the Plan. The Plan is non-transferable and applies only to the fireplace unit(s) registered at the time of enrollment.

Plan members are entitled to the following benefits during the active term of the Plan: (i) 15% off all services, (ii) 10% off repair labour, and (iii) 10% off repair parts, applicable only to the fireplace units covered under the Plan. Specialty parts and labour may be excluded from the 10% discount at the sole discretion of the service provider. Any such exclusions will be communicated to the customer prior to the commencement of work. Members also receive priority scheduling over non-members during peak periods and may be eligible for exclusive promotions or offers throughout the year, which are offered at the discretion of the provider.

The Plan is billed biannually, with the first payment due upon enrollment and subsequent payments due every six (6) months for the remaining years. Each payment includes one (1) maintenance service and access to all Plan benefits for the 6-month period following payment. If the customer cancels the Plan or fails to pay on time before the end of any given period, the included maintenance service and related discounts for that period will be forfeited, and no refunds or credits will be issued for services already rendered or unused benefits. Unpaid balances may be re-issued at non-member rates.


7.4 Silver Plan

This Fireplace Service Plan (“Plan”) is valid for a term of four (4) years from the date of initial enrollment and includes one (1) comprehensive maintenance inspection and cleaning per covered fireplace unit per (2) year period, for a total of two (2) maintenance visits over the term of the Plan. The Plan is non-transferable and applies only to the fireplace unit(s) registered at the time of enrollment.

Plan members are entitled to the following benefits during the active term of the Plan: (i) 10% off all services, (ii) 10% off repair labour, and (iii) 10% off repair parts, applicable only to the fireplace units covered under the Plan. Specialty parts and labour may be excluded from the 10% discount at the sole discretion of the service provider. Any such exclusions will be communicated to the customer prior to the commencement of work. Members also receive priority scheduling over non-members during peak periods and may be eligible for exclusive promotions or offers throughout the year, which are offered at the discretion of the provider.

The Plan is billed annually, with the first payment due upon enrollment and subsequent payments due on the anniversary date of enrollment each year for the remaining years. Each two (2) annual payments include one (1) maintenance service and access to all Plan benefits for the 12-month period following payment. If the customer cancels the Plan or fails to pay on time before the end of any given year, the included maintenance service and related discounts for that year will be forfeited, and no refunds or credits will be issued for services already rendered or unused benefits. Unpaid balances may be re-issued at non-member rates.


7.5 Bronze Plan

The Bronze Service Plan (“Plan”) is a free, no-obligation customer program designed to help homeowners stay on top of regular fireplace maintenance by providing a yearly service reminder.

By enrolling in the Bronze Plan, the customer agrees to receive one (1) annual reminder—by email, phone, or text—prompting them to schedule their next maintenance service. The customer may opt out of this reminder system at any time by notifying the service provider.

This Plan does not include any service discounts, priority scheduling, exclusive offers, or maintenance visits. It is not a maintenance agreement, and enrollment in the Bronze Plan does not constitute a commitment by the service provider to perform any service work unless separately scheduled and agreed upon by both parties.

There is no cost to enroll, and there are no cancellation fees or terms. The Plan is non-transferable and does not automatically upgrade or renew into any paid service plans.

By enrolling in the Bronze Plan, the customer acknowledges that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be contacted once annually with a reminder to schedule fireplace service.
